We had a location at exit 205 on I-65 at Clanton, Al. This location was large enough to house two restaurants, We had both a Country's Barbecue and a Buck's Place in this building. The building was constructed of Heart Pine that had been salvaged from local schools, courthouses, and churches, lots of cut and beveled glass, and brass. This facility was completely destroyed by fire on February 6, 1998, caused from gas logs in fireplace. The photos that follow are all that is left of this beautiful building.

In early Spring of 2003, it became apparent that we were not going to be successful in renewing our lease at a reasonable price at our location at 5336 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama. We had leased this property for 15 years, and our lease would expire at end of August, 2003.

After much searching, we were successful in purchasing an old put-put golf course at an S.B.A foreclosure auction, containing 3.06 acres, about 6 blocks East of our old location. There was extensive demolition required to the property, but we managed to save one beautiful waterfall that can be viewed from inside the new restaurant. The new restaurant opened for business on February 2, 2004, and the public reception has been fantastic! The photo that follows is a photo of our waterfall.
